Membership

Member companies of the ABSA support the effective protection for intellectual property essential to the commercialization of biotechnology inventions, including the full patentability of life forms. Membership in the ABSA is open to any company active in the biotechnology field, including the life-sciences, agriculture (inputs, related products and foods), industrial (enzymes) and/or environmental applications. ABSA is company-driven, with member companies determining ABSA positions and leading ABSA activities. Current members include Avanti Therapeutics, Bristol Myers-Squibb, Eli Lilly, Excel Life Sciences, General Electric, Hana BioSciences, Millennium Pharmaceuticals, Pfizer, Procter & Gamble, Tethys Research, and ToxEM LLC.
